A substantive comparison of the two front-runner Democratic Presidential candidates.

He doesn't buy into the Obama hype, so he's gone and done research. Extensive research. Now he supports Obama. Obama FTW!

Always one to avoid discussing America, especially their politics, this article was rather refreshing and kinda gave me the kind of information I would WANT to know - the FACTS. 2 Thumbs Up. Think I'll be visiting the Library of Congress more often...

Check this out, read the full blog, follow the links, study the information and you'll see why Obama is the one to take us forward. [Trust me, breaks my heart to say Hillary won't.] From the page: I Refuse to Buy into the Obama Hype (now a supporter) by Grassroots Mom Wed Feb 20, 2008 at 05:13:32 PM PST The next President is going to have some MAJOR challenges. I refuse to buy into the hype, on either side, but especially on that of Obama. However the empty rhetoric v. history of accomplishments arguments have prompted me to check it out on my own, not relying on any candidate's website, book, or worst of all supporters' diaries, like this one. I went to the Library of Congress Website. The FACTS of what each did in the Senate last year sure surprised me. I'm sure they will surprise you, too. Whether you love or hate Hillary, you will be surprised. Whether you think Obama is the second coming of JFK or an inexperienced lightweight, you will surprised. Go check out the Library of Congress Website. After spending some time there, it will be clear that there is really only one candidate would is ready to be the next president, even better than Gore. If you don't want to spend an hour or two doing research, then I'll tell you what I discovered on the jump.

From the page's comments: ""put that in a 30 second ad." OK-- Obama: In the Senate, I've fought to protect consumers from dangerous products. I've passed bipartisan legislation to prevent nuclear weapons from getting into the hands of our enemies. I've tightened the rules to prevent lobbyists from corrupting our Congress. I've introduced bills to cut back on corporate giveaways and fight Global Warming. Most of Hillary's legislative efforts have been focused on meaningless resolutions and weak incentives. I changed congressional ethics and I'll change this country as president. Hillary's had 6 years as Senator and she has yet to pass any bills that really changed America. I'm Barack Obama and I approve this message."

A comparison of Hillary Clinton's legislative record with that of Barack Obama. The author makes note of number and party of co-sponsors of bills supported by each candidate, as well as identifying which bills actually passed muster in the Senate. It is a fair and detailed analysis.

Who can get the government to intrude more in our lives, Clinton or Obama? You decide.
