judefa rated 11 days ago- I've got two great friends down in Tennessee -- Kristen in Nashville and Nedreck in Memphis. Poles apart but I wouldn't be without either of them. I just don't have the energy for a full-on weekend with Kristen so next time I am over that way I'll meet her for dinner then head up or down (I'll need directions) to Ned's for a comfortable bed and a bit of a mooch around town. His latest jaunt features some neglected neighbourhoods that I find peculiarly interesting. ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ PS Sorry Kris, but you've got 13 years on me. Gee, at 42 and still a few years after that I was travelling rough, and having affairs, and making a big idiot of myself in various ways. I'm closer to old Ned in age now though and would just as soon sit and enjoy the passing parade; watch the young people enjoying themselves. Not quite from a rocking chair, but from a street-side cafe at least. (No burgers for me though tks, Ned)

A real treat of a stumble, Nedreck is intelligent, funny and takes photos of his neck of the woods, which he shares in an interesting narrative of life there, past and present. Thanks, for a great visit! It was my dynamic buddy, duchie, who told me about this joy of a stumble:)

- NedReck (Ned) has some great images on here and some very interesting sites as well. The one about the Antarctic I enjoyed immensely, Ned also has a thing for birds (the feathered variety) I do also. Bird land is aptly named in Ned's blog I must add more after seeing the great images and the video of I think was what is called blue grass music!! tops in my opinion. An addition to this is the grand images of NYC and the blog of NedReck's about his trip...I really enjoyed reading it and the pictures were simply great. a case of Ned doing his thing again for sure Keep it up mate
