- This post should be renamed "52 shocking photographs" as they are not all internationally influential. I had never seen the "goatse" pic and now thanks to this thread im haunted.

- Some very obvious omissions from the two 20th century European wars...and one picture just doesn't need to be there at all as it cheapens the whole site...but I guess it passes for someone's sense of humour.
