- hahahahahah From the page: "I would much rather see the pupils removed like Lil Orphan Annie then airbrushing with more interesting colors like Blue or even Plaid. I'm also a big fan of multiple noses and extra eyes or ears on the cheekbones."

- She's a really pretty girl..!? Why do they have to photoshop her? The smile was genuine before and now it looks fake and plastic. =(

- From the page: "What's really fascinating about the comparison of the 2 photos side by side is just how much more interesting her untouched photo is, as opposed to the "touched up" one which gives me the feeling that I cannot really see her. For one thing the original eye "bags" ("laugh folds"?) are what make her eyes look happy, approachable and more attractive than the touched up one."

- All the wrongity wrongness aside, I think it is self-defeating. It looks like a comic book drawing of a person. The original picture seemed to actually have a facial expression that resembled a feeling as apposed to "better draw on a smile so this sketch looks purdy".

- Media creating an unreasonable ideal of beauty. Not new. But many people don't even realize that they are being misled and take images such as this at face value. Not everyone knows what Photoshop is, or even what it is fully capable of manipulating.
