- This is an extraordinary blog you should not miss! When I was there I went on many journeys, clicking on one site that took me to another and another. Biographies and vignettes of real people who were or are extra-ordinary themselves. Just wait until you see how he presents each post... A definite and full-hearted "Wow!" --- From his page: --- ampersand It is a blogazine on extraordinary people, who made a difference & for extraordinary human beings, who are grateful to others Violinist performance exclusively for New York Cabbies A Grammy-nominated violinist who left his $4 million, 285-year-old Stradivarius violin in a taxi is gave a free concert on 6th.of May 2008 for 30 minutes at an airport taxi stand for the driver who returned it. Philippe Quint, 34, left his 1723 "Ex-Keisewetter" violin in Mohammed Khalil's taxi when returning from Newark Liberty Airport last week, and he located and later returned it to Quint. The gesture is his way of giving thanks to the cab driver who reunited him with his lost 285-year-old instrument. Mohamed Khalil returned the irreplaceable 1723 Antonio Stradivari "Ex-Kiesewetter," valued at $4 million, that Quint left in his cab. The violin valued at $4 million was on loan from philanthropists Clement and Karen Arrison, of Buffalo, N.Y As another expression of his gratitude, Quint has also invited Khalil and his family to his next gig in New York on May 19 with the Jupiter Symphony Chamber Players at Good Shepherd Presbyterian Church. Khalil and his family also will have tickets to Quint's next New York performance in Sept.23 2008, at Carnegie Hall. Please report such kindness to &mpersand courtesy : kindnessfoundation.calcutta
