This is beautiful to watch, it might seem slightly perverse because she looks so young. It isn't intended to promote pedophilia since it dramatizes the consequences of Humbert's obsession with Lolita. And Nabokov uses word play, double entendres, multilingual puns, and anagrams throughout the story-- so it isn't supposed to be taken by word, but it still is a very controversial topic. The story is written beautifully, and however you view Humbert's obsession with "lo", whether you sympathize with him, or are disgusted at him. You'll still be impressed by the exquisiteness and professionalism of Nabokov's style. This story is beautiful, this video is pretty too, you'll see Lolita acting like the seductress Humbert thought she was. And I looove the choice of background music, K's choice is such a great band. Everyone should check them out too.
