bapuji rated 3 months ago- The demo is cool, but the science is very poor. First of all, it's not ice. You're creating a supersaturated solution of sodium acetate, which then crystallizes out of solution. It looks like ice, but it isn't. Second, the text says, "the reaction is exothermic." It's not a reaction. Nothing is reacting. Yes, it's exothermic. If you're going to make science demos, why not at least get the fucking science right?
