thestokershow rated 10 months ago- wtf? He cuts it off before it begins. Bill Nye did use faulty scare tactics there, he deserved to be called on it. Lindzen was just in doing so.

- I didn't hear the economist advocating raping the environment. I heard him say that if we hold our nerve, if we have courage, and use technology well, we will see the virtual elimination of poverty in the next 50 years. Wouldn't that be an awesome thing? Almost all of the people in StumbleUpon have enjoyed such privileges. Who would want to prevent others from benefiting?

- Check out the argument from the economist, he's saying that if we rape our environment fast enough, we can make everybody richer and outrun the negative effects of climate change. Hmmm, when over 50% of the global population is living in EXTREME poverty, I find it hard to think that they will have 401Ks and stock options to cashout and take a plane to Colorado Springs. Lassiez-faire = Lassiez-Mortir, he says let them die.
