gen-e-sis rated 3 months ago- yeah give us some new quality

Hambargarz rated 6 months ago- So true. There are good modern bands, but you can't beat the classics.

teenageanthem rated 8 months ago- Yeh, ok pop music now sucks. But look around. Don't just listen to radio or dig around on iTunes. Actually look for good music and you will find it. Fuck Baby Boomers. Their music was only good when they were high off of their own ego. They've got good musicians but we have just as many if you people would get up and look around. Try The Pink Spiders or Incubus, The 1990s or The Academy Is..., Angels and Airwaves, Boys Like Girls, Cobra Starship, The Cliks, Say Anything or about a million other bands I could name. Baby Boomers get over yourself, you gave us the Beatles and a good base for rock music, stop bitching about how we changed it.

Darque rated 9 months ago- Just a few weeks ago, I was hanging out with my buddies, talking about new music. The consensus between us was that new music pretty much sucks. Derivative, repetitive, and uninspired are the fashion trends of the current music scene, someone said, and we all agreed. Fans of classic rock, old-school metal, and '90s-style grunge-influenced metal, from Alice in Chains to Led Zeppelin, we were all pretty much convinced that the music industry today has shifted focus entirely from talent to sales, and the music itself has only suffered as a result. We were baffled that kids today seemed to love it, too.
I was the one to point out: "Guys, guys... we're standing around, drinking beer, and complaining about these kids and their bad music. We are officially old fogeys. Next, we'll be waving our canes at traffic, telling them to slow down." At precisely that moment, a little blinged-out Civic rolled by, loudly farting out its exhaust note, all bright colors and stickers, with an incessant, thumping bass note emanating from within. "So where are those canes, guys?"- Just a few weeks ago, I was hanging out with my buddies, talking about new music. The consensus between us was that new music pretty much sucks. dekonstruct rated 9 months ago- I've long known that the baby boomers have kicked our asses, at least when song lyrics are concerned. Don't worry though, when society collapses it'll be great for music.
