This is ignorant, and a waste of effort and time. In so-called "defense" of Chinese culture, the website takes astonishingly the self-serving, mean-spirited attitude that if a person wants a Chinese tattoo and is not completely well-versed on Chinese culture & history, he or she deserves to be ridiculed. I can't even begin to enumerate all the things that are wrong with this entire scenario other than this main one: its an astonishing waste of time and resources with the sole purpose being to dupe anybody considering getting (any) tattoo to visit their website to be mislead with erroneous information. This is certainly not the only reason I give it a thumbs down, out of all the phony ones offered (by ZUG), but its the most odious one. I hate it.

Ahahaha this reminds me of a poster of a chinese guy with "I love cock" on his arm. His buddies asked him what it meant. He said "happiness".

This is just frigging awesome. From the page: "One of ZUG's most popular features of all time is the Chinese Tattoo Prank, where Whistler, one of our resident troublemakers, tricked a co-worker into thinking her Chinese tattoo read "bean curd" instead of "inner peace." People love this story because everyone hates a poser, and most people with Chinese tattoos are posers. Recently we came up with a new prank, an extension of Whistler's original idea. We've created a standalone Web page for Chinese tattoos and their meanings. We've got a hot Asian chick, downloadable stencils, the whole deal. But here's the twist: every Chinese character has the wrong meaning."
