- XKCD didn't invent stick figure drawing. If the concept is original AND funny, it gets my Engineer's thumbs up!

- I agree :) Software and Electrical engineers among others take a 'special engineering chemistry' that is very dumbed down. It is one semester long while we had two semesters, and their labs consisted of an hour long lab while hours were three hour long double/triple labs with tests. My boyfriend was in it, needless to say I was jealous. I'm in CS so I don't need chemistry anyways, but I needed a general science so I ended up with it!

- All engineers took the same first two chemistry classes at my university. Of course Chem majors when on to take many more chemistry class, I never once had a chem class that could be construed as easy.
