Computer recognizes attractiveness in women. pretty soon we'll have computers gauging our personal preferences of beauty and generating faces that look beautiful to us. great!

Based on shit i've read in the past I would make the assumption that the process involves a biometric process that measures the *symmetry* of the face, and probably other factors like proportionality and placement of facial features... But we can finally use this computer to tell everyone once and for all that Angelina Jolie looks like a hideous monster with a HUGE vagina on its face, and an awful english accent.

From the page: "Amit Kagian, an M.Sc. graduate from the TAU School of Computer Sciences, has successfully "taught" a computer how to understand and process the factors which contribute to attractiveness in women. " --This is where the idea falls apart.

"Computer recognizes attractiveness in women"

Well why not? "Beauty" in women has been synthetic for over a thousand years.

Ignorant monkeys, you're missing the point.

A machine being able to spot hotties means that your taste is a fucking equation.

We define ourselves by what we want. But what if what we want is handed to us?

Asking questions like that is why I'm so dreadfully unpopular.

A computer is useful to tell me who has the best airfare. A computer might even be useful to beat me at chess. A computer is not useful to tell me how hot a woman is.
