    I think this is a fantastic idea. Unfortunately they don't operate in my state or any neighboring states...

    Zip car pays for the insurance and gas. All you pay is an hourly/annual fee depending on your usage plan. It's a great alternative to renting a car if you live in the city!

    Why can't they do a deal with Auto Share, Vrtucar and CommunAuto?

    Excellent idea, but not for someone who lives out in the middle of nowhere. (And on a road that is not on Google Maps or any other map site,)

    This is a great idea! It's only available in 9 metro areas so far (including Seattle of course), but it looks like they'll be rolling it out to another ten cities in the near future.
