PrakashPuskar rated 5 months ago- I like it.

mlekas rated 6 months ago- Not your typical Zen website. But then what would that be? Anyway it's pretty good, worth visiting.

tonymcgregor rated 13 months ago- Great source of Zen information.

SteinHoister rated 17 months ago- Nan-in, a Japanese master during the Meiji era (1868-1912), received a university professor who came to inquire about Zen. Nan-in served tea. He poured his visitor's cup full, and then kept on pouring. The professor watched the overflow until he no longer could restrain himself. "It is overfull. No more will go in!" "Like this cup," Nan-in said, "you are full of your own opinions and speculations. How can I show you Zen unless you first empty your cup?"

Ytube1 rated 19 months ago- What's the sound of one hand clapping? Is it a slap in the face? What's a one-handed applause sound like?

- A lot of good resources!

GrateOne rated 27 months ago- Good page with useful contents. And a nice story with a good meaning here.

Celainn rated 28 months ago- "A soldier came to Hakuin and asked "Is there really a paradise and a hell?" "Who are you?" inquired Hakuin. "I am a samurai," the warrior replied. "You, a samurai!" exclaimed Hakuin. "What kind of ruler would have you as his guard? Your face looks like that of a beggar!" The soldier became so angry that he began to draw his sword, but Hakuin continued. "So you have a sword! Your weapon is probably as dull as your head!" As the soldier drew his sword Hakuin remarked "Here open the gates of hell!" At these words, the samurai, perceiving the discipline of the master, sheathed his sword and bowed. "Here open the gates of paradise," said Hakuin."

xamox rated 36 months ago- A very good overview of Zen Buddhism as well as Zen Buddhist resources.
