the announcer is a stupid piece of shit with his perpetual motion and "free energy" ideas. The scientist dude is right though, compressed air makes a great energy carrier, and it's awesome that they figured this out.

lawl, laws of physics... who needs 'em? Perpetual? No. But the idea of using compressed air is just another way of storing energy (e.g. a battery). The question is whether or not it would be simpler and cheaper just to use batteries.

They say it's "free". Heh, bull. Compressing air takes a lot of energy. Still, let's suppose the electricity to power the compressors come from renewable power sources. I could see this working.

The ongoing saga of the air car. Good theory, needs practice.

compressing air requires energy input and that energy comes from somewhere, whether it be coal fired plants or nuclear or solar what not, it's merely a different way of storing and releasing energy for use in moving the car.

you still have to compress the air, with some kind of pump that runs on some kind of fuel or energy. Oh yea that end part is pretty retarded too.

The car is cool, but the commentary to this video is absolutely brainless! Perpetual motion? That's just stupid, it ignores thermodynamics. And by the way, that name thing is about as ironic as the lyrics to the Alanis Morisette song.

with gas hitting $4.00 a gallon, this technology will be improved upon....hopefully soon.
