- I'm sure the taxes are incredible, but it looks to me like every single penny spent is well spent and worth it. I'd move there in a heart beat.

- This is a perfect example of how liberal politics will always work better then conservative politics. Norway is an incredible country, ranked number one on the UN human development list. great health care, great education, great incomes, etc.. and oh by the way, some of the "prisons" over there are like nothing any American has ever even dreamed of. instead of treating the criminals like animals, and thus encouraging more deviant behavior, norway actually treats the prisoners like humans. they live in a secluded community if you will, they wake themselves up, they cook their meals, they live with other criminals and they learn to properly function in society. they aren't chained down to any walls and they have almost as many rights as any other citizen. guess what? Norway also has the lowest murder rate in the world. The cops in the streets don't even carry guns, and the longest prison sentence is 21 years. dont even think about capitol punishment either, because it just doesn't happen over there. But wait, theres more. even if you aren't a criminal, Norway is still a beautiful place to live. unlike in most other countries these days, the government actually cares for the people, and it shows. over there, what they consider conservative most americans would consider liberal. the government will help pay for a car if you have trouble using public transportation. you get a years worth of maternity leave. and of course they realize the importance of the environment. this, my friends, is liberal politics at its finest. Seeing this makes me wonder why conservatives even exist.. basically in America you can choose to be fair to the rich, white, straight, honest to goodness red blooded American men or you can choose to be fair to everyone regardless of wealth or race. we see which path norway chose, and just look at where it took them..
