- It's easy for some members of the police to get like this. Police officers tend to have a big ego due to the power that they wield over the typical civilian. Seldom are they disciplined by the judiciary and when they are, the police department bands together to stop it. With no fear of consequences for their actions, Police are able to deploy tasers without any more explanation than that the person seemed to be agressive. They are also more inclined to abuse this power as is seen in this clip.

"to protect and serve" .. ..its gotten a long way away from that any more. ..tasers are used for "compliance", the uniforms are more along the lines of military, they don't lend a helping hand (..my mother had an accident which totaled her car. ..she lived about 4 miles away from the accident. ..the cops told her they couldn't give her a ride. ..she had to call me from work, 2 hours away, to give her a ride.). ..when the first thing you do when you walk up to me on the street is reach for your gun or threaten me w/ an attitude, you are no longer "serving and protecting" other then serving and protecting the vested interests that hire you. .."police state" is happening.. ..and its coming faster then you realize.
