brimborion rated 9 days ago- Whew... are those boulders grinding downslope at the back of the cavern? I have to note that this is NOT "the only instrument" that can measure glacier movement... it's usually done by GPS.

Niccilope rated 9 days ago- Fascinating footage of the view from underneath a glacier!

kdfrawg rated 5 months ago- Cool!

seajohnkayak rated 5 months ago- Gave me new insight to "moveing as fast as a glacier"...

gaelynsgirl rated 5 months ago- A fascinating glimpse at glacial movement!

thefuzzymode rated 7 months ago- This is cool as hell!...and the glaciers movement is measured with a bicycle wheel???? Welllll.......Vivaaaaa'hhhh le Tour de Francccceee! (;o) Seriously....In Geology the professor discussed in great length how abrasive glaciers really are....It was never anything that I could truly wrap my head around back then. After seeing this timelapse footage, however.....I see exactly where he was going!
