- loved Geofffxdwg's review..."Jimi is over shadowed by his Guitar Abilities,I am just as blown away from his lyrics which to me make his brief visit here on earth a biblical event.When he made Electric Ladyland he played almost all of the instruments on that album.What is so cool is that all of the effects he heard in his head he had to improvise and fabricate in ways only a God is capable of doing.The delays,reverbs,pitch shifters,noise gates,overdrives,distortion,compression and the list goes on and on.These effects weren't even invented then.Jimi still managed to get those sounds he heard so clearly in his head down on tape.I think his contribution to the sound processing industry was fat and goes unnoticed by many."

- Gah I hate when I see videos where the footage is a live performance but they swap out the live audio with the recorded version of the song on the album
