I reckon this is breakthrough technology for people with ideas but not the technical musical knowledge of how to bring these to fruition (as in: playing instruments, there are simply too many to learn them all) - Lots of moaners in the comments here.

- This is amazing, I've never seen an application do this so accurately. I really don't think people understand the power of this technology, the uses are endless. Imagine printing out your own sheet music simply by having this program analyze an mp3 or even an mp3 recording of your own. It would eliminate the hassle of actually writing your music in notation, or re-recording it in midi form in order to remember how it was played. Seeing this program as just another tool for generic pop artists to make their albums is looking at this very narrow-mindedly. Programs like these will change how we share, write, and learn music.
