- I dunno... I was really disappointed when he started telling people why he was doing it... it lost a lot of credibility, I feel. The natural aspect was lost.

Jessbo rated 16 months ago- I love the soliloquy towards the end.

stimulantcaplets rated 16 months ago- What would happen if you stood outside McDonald's and asked people walking in if you could pay for their meal? David Greg Harth decides to find out.
People and money have a complex relationship. Some patrons are so suspicious of Harth's motives, they walk right past him. Others see him as an easy mark and try begging for cash. Some people, however, are open to the moment, and let him buy their meals with a surprisingly deep gratitude and happiness. Funny how a $3 meal can end up with two strangers hugging.- What would happen if you stood outside McDonald's and asked people walking in if you could pay for their meal? David Greg Harth decides to find out.

Junglist999 rated 17 months ago- Why do "philanthropic" 'performance art' in McDonalds!?

PoisonPen rated 18 months ago- In this 17 minute video, New York City artist David Greg Harth creates a piece of performance art in which he stands outside a New York McDonalds and offers to buy people's food for them. As you'll see in the video, McDonalds repeatedly tries to stop him, going so far as to call the police on him (the police acknowledge what he's doing is not illegal) and eventually simply refuse to accept his money.
