- Teller loves deception for deception's sake. He will place something under a cup, and then lift the cup so you can find the object. He calls it a magic trick because he actually palmed the item, pretended to put it under the cup, ditched it, stole another identical item, and loaded that under the cup when he lifted it. =/ He's a genius. However, it's not an interesting trick at all until he explains what happened. Here is a nice routine illustrating the point, narrated by his partner Penn.

- Penn and Teller are more comedians than magicians, especially since they reveal their tricks. But that's what makes them great to watch.

- Penn & Teller is one of those guys who tends to make some people very angry...mostly because they explain how they do some of the tricks they do (not all)...
Of course, this only makes me respect their art even more, because they make it look so effortless...
