David Gallo showcases the wonders of the deeps, including incredible bioluminescent creatures in total darkness. Most astonishing of all is the camoflauge properties of the octopus at the end of the video.

While mostly about Octopussies, Octopusses? Octopizza? Ergh... While mostly about Octopus species (HA!), this is definitely cool. Engage active camouflage... It's like the ugly chick in high school, except these creatures don't need a crowd to disappear in, and they can re-appear if they want.

Wow, amazing sea creatures, I'm sure the military studies these creatures a lot, imagine if a soldier could just vanish in plain sight.
