That must be a wonderful time of year, there, when the spaghetti starts coming in. Ever wonder how spaghetti grows so uniformly? Plant breeders worked hard on that one. FTP: "In this b&w clip, first broadcast on BBC Panorama on 1st April 1957, a very young Richard Dimbleby revealed the wonderful world of Swiss spaghetti production to millions of deprived and hungry post-war Brits. I think spaghetti always tastes better if you've grown it yourself.

From the page: "In this b&w clip, first broadcast on BBC Panorama on 01/04/1957, a very young Richard Dimbleby revealed the wonderful world of Swiss spaghetti production to millions of deprived and hungry post-war Brits. Republished as a tribute to great British broadcasting by trainee chef Trig"
