- This is going to be a fun one for me to tear apart. As I watched this 10 minute clip, I found 3 main things that bothered me the most. Let's begin.
1. 666
In the movie, they talk about the origin of 666 and use a bunch of adding things to prove that the pope's title adds up to this number. The origin, according to them, is that the emperor Nero's name adds up to this number. But to me, that only shows how the bible is a product of its time reacting to a bad leader. Not that Nero is the anti-Christ. Then, they say that Vicarius Filii Dei added up is also 666. So the Pope is the anti-Christ. Except I have no clue how they got their numbers AND their system includes the number 0. But the Romans did not have the number zero. It was not a widely accepted concept at that time.
2. The dollar bill
This movie makes many claims about the dollar bill. One of them is that the word mason can be found on it. They prove this by playing connect the dots. But it isn't in any order and the letters M A S O N are common in our language. It proves nothing that they all show up.
Next, they claim that there is a pentagram on the dollar bill and superimpose the lines of it to show us better. But what they superimpose is a six pointed star, not a 5-pointed star so it's NOT a pentagram. "Penta" means 5, not 6. That would be a hexagram.
Then, it said that if you fold the dollar bills in such ways you can see the twin towers falling. You know, because when the dollar bills were designed (before the twin towers were built even) they decided to put the twin towers falling on them. Even though the foldings don't even look like the Twin Towers to me.
3. New World Order
Ok, come on. People have been talking about each new world order since time was written down! Every generation sees itself as the most modern, amazing, and world-changing generation. So from that, EVERY generation is bringing evil, anti-Christness into the world.
I think I'm going to end here. It was fun but my head is going to explode if I keep going.
