Absolutely spectacular. I enjoy the study of artificial intelligence and this is wonderful. Watching all the different parts of the AI working together. The ability to track objects, balance itself on two feet, track voices. This is the first decent thing in AI I have seen in years. People marvel... more

Absolutely spectacular. I enjoy the study of artificial intelligence and this is wonderful. Watching all the different parts of the AI working together. The ability to track objects, balance itself on two feet, track voices. This is the first decent thing in AI I have seen in years. People marvel at how Deep Blue be Kasparov. But Deep Blue was generating billions of possible moves and calculating the best outcome for each of those moves. Not very intelligent. But what this robot is doing is akin to what Kasparov does. It learns patterns and categorizes them. That is how a human plays chess. Not by generating all the moves but by pattern recognition, inference and intuition. This robot is doing the same but on a very simple level. Absolutely amazing.

Hmmm, this was a very cool video. I've seen Caprica, the spin off of Battlestargalactica few days ago, and I couldn't stop thinking "Cylon, CYLON". Eitherway, this is very cool

I wonder if we may one day become obsolete and replaced by Robots? Or maybe we will be like the Alien Grays; Part human and part robotic.
