It is a travesty that this speech is on a television show because the men and women elected to represent us do not have the balls and integrity to say this on the floor of the House and Senate every single day until something is done. IMPEACH!
5 Minute Video Summary of (the lack of) Freedom
Come on - this should NOT be possible, we have the technology, the social networks, and yet fascism/corporatism is slowly but steadily creeping into the leader position. Not only in the US but in Europe as well we're losing the freedom to do anything worthwhile (that is, beyond consuming more crap to make ourselves more docile). The fear mongering being used is nothing short of pathetic: you have more chances of dying from a rhino falling on you than terrorism no matter what crap the mainstream media portrays these days. Connect with your friend, neighbors and family and make sure that this political trend STOPS.Reviewed using Transfz SU Extension
A Most Powerful Video on American LibertiesThis is the most powerful YouTube video I have ever seen presented on our Civil Liberties...what we've lost since the Bush Administration. This is not a left/right video. This is an American video. If you love the concept of America...If you love the rights that often we never think of due to our founding fathers and the Constitution upon which this country was built...If you remain baffled as much as I do as to how this started, what happened, and why is no one paying attention...I encourage you to spend 5 minutes today of your undivided attention and watch this video. On another note...The actor is James Spader in character of Alan Shore from ths hit primetime series Boston Legal - which the scene is taken from. I think David E. Kelley is the most progressive creator of television shows that aren't afraid to deal with today's topics. David E. Kelleye deserves a standing ovation. I remember the show from which this scene is taken - I remembered getting chills and tears in my eyes as I listened to Alan Shore's closing argument.Whoever created this YouTube masterpiece gets my my estemmed "Thank you." Well made, tasteful and very powerful. Kudos to my new friend.
