Seolyk rated 2 weeks ago- oh no, the gov can see stuff we willingly post on the internet! if you don't want people to be able to access info about you: don't put it online! It's as simple as that! Just because Facebook is funded by people who have connections to the government doesn't mean its a human info mining operation. If the gov were really to want that, they wouldnt NEED to make an elaborate front such as this, they'd just hack people's computers. And anyways, people put way too much info about themselves in even more easily accessed places online, especially if they fill in forms for those tiered marketing ploys for the 'free ipod nanos' and other things.

- Looks like a school project. With that much effort in presentation, you have to get a better voice to read it. Ask a friend or a relative, girl.

billso rated 3 weeks ago- This video was made in 2006. Do some fact checking. Some of this information checks out, but Facebook has received much larger amounts of VC in the last two years. I wish they'd used someone with a professional-sounding voice for the narration. Listening to a whiny, nasal college-air girl who did not rehearse was painful.

actionjoe rated 4 months ago- In several recent court cases, the judges found that internet users have no "reasonable expectation to privacy" so wiretap warrants weren't really necessary.

Baylynx rated 5 months ago- In Weimar Germany, a 'National Healthcare Database' was formed easily by German Citizens who volunteered their familial/genetic history with the government. Within a decade, it was this database that was used FIRST to begin the 'weeding out' of the population for THE FINAL SOLUTION POLICIES! History repeats itself so often that it is easier to predict than the weather!

meatbot rated 6 months ago- Reasons to protect yourself and your online-persona. Find an online service benefits you more and doesn't exploit you. Like StumbleUpon... Unless anyone can prove otherwise?

darsius rated 11 months ago- curious, I wonder if facebook really is a federal project. But it's not the government that scares me with this, it's large companies.

I did join facebook but noticed most of the faces were younger and better-connected than mine! This measured critique of the hidden agenda of the data-collection industry and the outrageous terms and conditions of facebook's use of your personal data is enough to put you off joining!
