Hey I have all those eye-candy's on my FreeBSD box. You can't say it's just linux evolution, it would be more correct to say it's xorg, DE, WM etc. evolution.

Nice comparision, I like Linux and run it on one of my PCs at home. I've said we live in a Microsoft world, but see that changing every date.

Where's the comparison? Linux portion is showing advances in the GUI while the Windows portion is showing windows not work.

This does Linux no favours, just like when MS sends out adverts claiming that Linux costs more than Windows Server doesn't do Windows any favours. It's twisted. There's a grain of truth included here, but not any facts, and people aren't stupid. A sensible, straight-up contrast is needed, not this.

Beryl is kind of neat I guess. But I prefer Windows because it actually has software that is usable by regular people.
