- Understanding that immigration worldwide is an issue and not just in the U.S., watching this video really made me think how amazing it might be if there were no walls or borders between countries... or even between humans. I have some amazing nephews and a beautiful niece I have tried to get tourist visas for during the past two years just to bring them up here for the summer so that they can explore Florida with me and hang out in the swamps, see the gators, go to Disney World and Busch Gardens, and learn a little English... and for two years, we have struggled to obtain the visas for them just to come visit their cousins here in Florida. These are children... and because my parents happened to be born on THIS side of a big fence, my children and I can travel freely back and forth between these two countries as long as we pay a small fee... and because my gorgeous nephews and niece were born on the other side of the fence as were their parents and grandparents... they may never be allowed to come here legally just to visit even.
