Stupid macs have no security, like even windows has. On mac just copy the the folder and you have the software. on Pc if you copy the folder you might be missing the dlls and registery information.
This story is so weak. I guarantee that no one ever does this. A. you still need the activation code. B. Have you ever heard of Peer to Peer or Bit Torrent? You can do the same thing without leaving your house.
You can download A LOT of software without risking like that. And I can not think of any software that could cost thousands of dollars installed on a display computer. Maybe only the operating system, but that will take a lot of time standing like that. Ah, another bogus of mass media.
