- The artist with no eyes(TV documentary)How can a man without eyes paint colors and treat perspective? Sculpting shapes, maybe but seeing colors with your fingertips! This investigation by a Harvard/Toronto neurology team has literally turned philosophy, science, and art history on its head. Further reading: Molyneux's problem attracted the attention of lots of philosophers and other men of learning, such as Berkeley, Leibniz, Voltaire, Diderot, La Mettrie, Helmholtz and William James. Esref Armagan is a man from Turkey with an extraordinary gift, the ability to paint with color, nuance and perspective. Esref was born without eyes and so has never seen anything in the standard visual sense; however, Esref sees with his fingertips and, more importantly, with his mind. This is astonishing.
