- i hate it when people bring up the 3500 soldiers who have died in 6 years . . . . you know the death rate percentage per thousand per year is less than that of a person living in Phili or DC . . last time i checked it was 3.4%/1000/year and in phili its 5.2%/1000/year althought US Average is 2.4%/1000/year

 shpongolina rated 12 months ago- we all believe what we want to believe... my belief is that we can no longer view the issues facing today's world based on labels. to see each other as democrat or republican or liberal, catholic, muslim, christian, idiot, intellectual OR what-have-you, does us a disservice as a SPECIES. we are never ALL going to agree on everything. perhaps we should begin to look for what we have in common. i'd like to start with our humanity.... peace to all

- Yes vote republican. I intend to vote republican if Ron Paul is the Republican candidate, but these arguments are ridiculous.
Bush did lie to get us into Iraq. If they were so concerned about stopping genocide or disarming tyrants then why didn't we intervene in Darfur where hundreds of thousands are being murdered right now?!!! And why is it that people are so willing to ignore the fact that there were no weapons of mass destruction, and that our entire premise for the war was based on those non-existent weapons?
People need to wake up and realize that the liberal vs. conservative tension that they present to the public is nothing more than theater. The democratic and republican parties are both thoroughly bought out by corporate interest and corrupt to the bone. Ron Paul is the only exception that has taken the stage in years. He is the only candidate that bases his platform on reinstating the constitution and restoring our national sovereignty. Please stop playing their games by battling against liberals. Bush is not worthy of your defense, and in defending him you just come out looking like a brainwashed idiot.
