I had a good Baha'i friend in high school who came to the US from Iran because of religious persecution. He was probably the nicest person I've ever met, precisely because of his faith. This persecution is not as widely publicized as it should be. It's absolutely unconscionable.

This is a very powerful video that I hope many others will watch and pass on. I know many Baha'is in this country, and their religious freedom is the same of many of us here. They serve tirelessly to help others. How sad that their counterparts in the country of the founding of Baha'i would be so summarily killed and abused. I had no idea. Please dear hearts, watch this video and pass it on to everyone you know.

It's clear that no one has a a monopoly on religious persecution. This is a moving and disturbing clip about one of the untold tragedies of our generation.

Do we keep forgetting history so that we repeat it over and over and over again? Atrocities, brutality, persecution - highlighted in this video - when will we ever learn?

YouTube now says this is no longer available. What happened--pressure from the Iranian government? Shameful if so. A moving video with hauntingly beautiful music at the start. Hard to see how to help, given the nature of the regime in Iran.
