FKFaceMcFayden rated 15 months ago- I have a Washington Post letter to the editor from David Walker hanging in my office at work. The segment showing Bill Clinton announcing the end of the deficit is a clever bit of editing because David Walker correctly points out in the previously mentioned letter that the Clinton surplus was actually smoke and mirrors due to the fact that the Clinton administration left out unfunded liabilities in their calculations. Of course, under George W. Bush the deficit has gone from Clinton's mildly unbelievable $20 trillion to an astronomical $50+ trillion dollars. This is one reason that I actually like Ron Paul; he's been saying the exact same thing administration after administration for as long as I can remember. Though I don't agree with all of his proposed domestic policies, he's leaps and bounds ahead of every other presidential candidate in economic literacy.
