It reminded me of the worrying debate about whether darwinism should be taught at schools or not that is going on in the US.
Darwin's theory might have some flaws but that's the thing with science. The theories are the best approximations of the truth until a better theory is made. The purpose of science isn't to ban religion but to understand out what life's about; to understand what happens around us.

- I'm glad to see someone saying things how they are. I didn't see the so-called debate on CNN, but it doesn't surprise me one bit how the media uses these channels to perpetrate ignorance and intolerance among regular folk. What, is hoping for a laic state such foolishness?

- I'm still in awe of how full of shit these "news" channels are. When I was little, I watched them like they were always fact and no one mentioned otherwise. It's really sick.
