 Physics102 rated 9 months ago- I use vista, even taking a class in it... yup, it stinks. As soon as the class is through, I'm bouncing back to XP. Honestly, it's a nice design, and I can see potential, but it seems as though it's more unstable and crash-happy then ME was.

 Phil-m94 rated 8 months ago- All his points (all 2) are completely invalid. Anti-virus didn't work on the BETA - since then all vendors have a vista solution. I have one, and it works charmingly, thankyou.
Windows Defender has never pretended to be an anti-virus, its an anti spyware app, and not a bad one. It is built on the GIANT engine and has great detection rates.
If you're going to bash something, at least know what you're bashing. As for hardware requirements, a £300 PC will run it fine, and will do Aero if you don't mind the performance hit, or do the XP if you want it slick.
Vista isn't perfect, by far, but it is an improvement over XP in many ways. Though, isn't it more popular to hate something needlessly at the moment?

- Everything that has drawn criticism to Windows Vista in a short video. Some of the points are now "invalid"... and you know, spending 300 pounds on new gear for your PC to run an OS is totally acceptable. And then having it run twice as slow as XP. :)
