The pope has never read the Bible. This is a very well done short. This guy has made quite a few very compelling videos. The problem is 'believers' aren't rational beings, the outrageous comments from the faithful prove this abundantly.
And what about those who say 'Don't take the bible so literally'? No it should not be taken literally but consider this; where does it end? The bible speaks of incredible immoral actions and is full of horrible awful stuff. Is everything a metaphor? Is nothing to be taken as it is. No, there's too much picking and choosing, is 'thou shalt not kill' to be taken literally or not? How about 'Thou shalt not steal' are these just abstracts? What about the story of the ark? Is there some clue as to what is metaphor and what literal? The bible is the bible's own worst enemy, any rational, non-programmed and conditioned individual who actually reads that book from cover to cover will understand and see the light. Religion is a disease, an often times dangerous form of insanity and delusion.

- Author don't understand RCC. I feel pope is wrong, but I think author is wrong. Teologists could find several ways to support pope's statement. In Roman Catholic Church interpretation of Bible is prohibited for believers. When priest say something about gods nature it's a law.
