I've heard so many horror stories about Vista that it made me reluctant to install the operating system on my own computer, nor to recommend Vista to anyone else that wants to run Windows on their computers -- I look forward to the release of Vista service pack 1 and the peer reviews that will follow it to determine whether or not my recommendation will change ... however, what worries me more is that Microsoft's support for Windows XP officially ends in April of 2009 -- which means that come summer of 2009, unless if Microsoft decides to extend their support for XP service pack 2 or extends their support for the upcoming release of XP service pack 3, I'll either have a lot of work upgrading a bunch of computers to Vista service pack 2 (which should be available by then) or migrating a bunch of computers over to Ubuntu Linux or some other desired flavor ...

This is a great video and is worth watching if you have tangled with different Windows versions through the years. Be sure to stick it out to the end for the last gag. Disclaimer: I have successfully used Vista on a couple of computers.
