- Ross Alexander Young was born in Perth, Scotland in 1971. He studied to become an aeronautical / mechanical engineer, and commenced his profession with the Ministry of Defence as an aircraft engineer. Travelling and exploring the planet became a favourite pastime, and his travels took him to every corner of the globe, including : USA, Thailand, Australia, Morocco and Denmark. During these adventures many paintings and souvenirs were gathered, and these are now used to influence his style of work. There are so many bright, and unforgettable colours around the world - the intense green mountains of Peru, and the golden sands of Dubai are part of Ross's spectrum...
