"Nothing much makes sense. So, you might as well make whatever kind of movies you want. And hope for the best."- Ethan Coen "Well that's right! If then! Believe me, Delmar, Woman is the most fiendish instrument of torture ever devised to bedevil the days a man!" - Ulysses Everett McGill

Thanks to i-a-mutant.

Sakura6 rated 7 months ago- While we are on the subject of Coen films, I urge all who come here to watch the Hudsucker Proxy. If only for the extremely beautiful opening shot.

emonome rated 9 months ago- All things Coen Brothers. Not all, really, but almost all.

KingBoy rated 17 months ago- Site devoted to two of the best modern filmmakers.

chimichurri rated 20 months ago- The movies of Joel and Ethan Cohen... two brilliant dudes.

ActionJeans rated 21 months ago- Great site about two of my favorite filmmakers, with some cool facts that I did not know about their first film (and an amazing first film at that) Blood Simple. From the page: The Coen brothers gained the required finance for the movie by making a short "trailer" before the movie was in production, it "starred" Bruce Campell as Marty, the role later filled by Dan Hedaya. Holly Hunter was originally chosen for the role of Abby, but she thought her roommate, Frances McDormand, was better suited and recommended her to Joel and Ethan. She, of course, got the gig and later went on to marry Joel. Found on IronGiant's page.
