Emmuttmax dispatches Welsh lemurs to seek Israeli alliance The pages of both of Israel's leading newspapers (Maariv and Yediot Aharanot) this morning featured startling pictures of a lemur delegation that arrived in the country late yesterday evening to seek the backing of the small but powerful Israeli lemur community for their global offensive. Having already secured alien technical advisers and British RAP (raptor) air support, the latest plot of the wily lemur eminence grise (e.g., viz. EMMUTTMAX, op. cit., ibid.) who only yesterday hinted at "startling Middle East developments," was unwittingly outed by the Israeli media. The Hebrew news reports said the lemurs were eating kosher matza (unleavened bread) in Tel Aviv's safari park in honor of the coming Jewish Passover festival. Their clear distaste for the traditional fare immediately identifies them as foreigners. However, Israeli feline sources in the much vaunted Pussad intelligence agency tipped off their counterparts in the thane CATS service. Pussad said it had identified the two lemurs guzzling matza in one picture (left) as members of Uberlemur Twitch Trelow's 12-tailed assassin squad from Folly Farm - the Ringtail League exposed in yesterday's Welsh media. The other picture (right) is of the notoriously unpleasant female leader of the Israeli simian community, Lemur Livnow. Thane leader Thamus was later reported to be flying to Israel with top CATS advisers for urgent consultations with the Pussad. The thane council spokesman declined to comment, citing "delicate diplomatic considerations."
