    telemarketers are annoying but this is a waste of time. just tell them to put you on their don't call list and hang up.

    My wife and I hate being interupted by telemarketers .. I have used scripts like this one ... or just for fun I've set the phone down on the table and let the caller enjoy some of the room noise ... after a few minutes I say "sorry I must have missed the phone cradle" then I hang up

    OK so this is mildly funny. Or the idea of doing it is. But did you read the bit where you actually introduce personal information (including your telephone number) to fax it back to whoever set up this whole thing?

    I'm sorry, I feel evil and all, but it's so funny. It would just be nice if companies decided to respect our privacy and stop flogging their products in this way. Does anyone know anyone that actually bought anything from a telemarketer?
