Xanga gives you little to no control on how things are set up.

Been a member of Xanga since 2002. It's a GREAT Blogging site - one of the originals and I will always use their service. You can customize your page fairly easily (they updated their features tremendously). There are plenty of security features, so you can make your site private, protected, and have a specific group of readers so you're not blogging for the entire world to see. I definitely recommend Xanga to anyone who loves to blog.

A free place where you can blog about anything you want. I've been using this site for 5 years so I have seen it improve (or change) through many phases. Many mature adults and writers have been popular here while the younger generation has flocked to myspace and facebook. Xanga still is here, but the downside are those ads.

Honestly, I love this site more than myspace. Blogging, it just puts me in my happy place. www.xanga.com/amanda_cake (I'm not always the happiest person, so don't expect this blog to be cheerios and chocolate)

A free blogging website. It really has done some improving. You dont need an account to leave comments now. Customizing your site is easier. It still has room for improvement though.
