Yeah...this isn't funny, because it is just so true. I really like this one. I post this in the memory of Jdimytai Damour, who was trampled to death on Nov 28th, 2008 by celebrating the Christmas tradition. We have gone insane.

Sure, i can go along with the anti-materialist aspect, but the rest of it? It's more of the same childish "look at how cleverly impolite I am!" from the same old preening anti-christian bigots.

As a concerned consumer, I consider capitalism as the consumer's decision to participate, but, blindly following such a path is detrimental to our physiology. We become human doings rather then human beings... and forget the truest reason behind our action during the holidays. May we be present in our moments of greatest ignorance. Infinite love and peace, Chris.

1. This 'satire' lumps all sorts of disparate people together in an attempt to critique Christianity, conflating American materialists with Christians -- not inevitably the same thing. Giving gifts is a perfectly fine, even noble, thing. It shows generosity and brings joy to others. 2, The graphic is obnoxious and insulting. 3. Why is it that such 'bold' satirists always take aim at Christians and so rarely at, say, Muslims? I suspect because it affords the opportunity to feel avant-garde and iconoclastic without any major repercussions. 4. What tisstupid said is exactly right.

things can be funny and true, people. or more specifically, funny because they're true, and just presenting the truth to you in a newly packaged format.
