alohaomega rated 2 months ago- From the page: "Some mistakes we learn from. For example: Thinking that selling toys for pets on the Web is a great way to get rich. We're not going to do that again."

jorday rated 3 months ago- From the page: "The Nutshell 1. The Internet isn't complicated 2. The Internet isn't a thing. It's an agreement. 3. The Internet is stupid. 4. Adding value to the Internet lowers its value. 5. All the Internet's value grows on its edges. 6. Money moves to the suburbs. 7. The end of the world? Nah, the world of ends. 8. The Internet's three virtues: a. No one owns it b. Everyone can use it c. Anyone can improve it 9. If the Internet is so simple, why have so many been so boneheaded about it? 10. Some mistakes we can stop making already"

shmageki rated 3 months ago- Still 100% valid commentary... Pushing an elephant up the stairs, I believe, is the phrase?

MaxEd rated 3 months ago- 55 months later it's still pretty much the same mistakes all over again.

MarkDykeman rated 5 months ago- Just discovering Doc Searles :S

halfquid rated 16 months ago- From the page: "World of Ends What the Internet Is and How to Stop Mistaking It for Something Else." Shouldn't need to be explained but obviously does. Are you paying attention RIAA? Congress? anybody?

integrator rated 16 months ago- From the page: "No one owns it. Everyone can use it. Anyone can improve it."

transisto rated 18 months ago- Dont you know what it really is ,,,WOW old crap..

alexande5 rated 19 months ago- Very worthwhile discussion. Internet does not have to become a purely commercial exercise. Not every dialog needs a sponsor and not everyone wants to hear from a soft drink or beer, no matter how cool their agency can make them appear.
