    I agree with commentor Niko: delicious food that's costly because of its taste is often worth the money to me. After all, that's what money's for; to buy what you want or need. I wouldn't live in complete opulence while ignoring the less-fortunate souls among me if I could afford this stuff, but much of it, I would try if I could afford it.

    The cost of an item is only as much as a person is stupid enough to pay. There would be nothing in the world that would convince you to eat fish eggs at a mere $15 a pop... Would you drink coffee from a bean that came out of some cats ass for $10 And so on, if it is expensive it shows that we are persons of good taste even though we know deep down that it tastes like shit.

    Ways of wasting money, as expensive doesn't necessarily mean delicious. Gold leaf and a diamond, really? Also, it would help if the price of the serving size was indicated. A kilo of tea has a lot of cups in it.
