 guyvestal rated 10 months agoactivism, feminism, women, social-justice, freedom - Are we just walking the walk, or talking the talk. This post speaks directly on that point. Sadly enough there is a real social class war going on in the streets of every city in the world. Hate lurks around every corner, looking for its next victim. But what are we doing about it? Are we trying to fight against it? Or are we just looking good, ignoring privilege, and supporting class warfare by ignoring it, or claiming it doesn't exist because we refuse to recognize it? Personal responsibility is the key to existing together here on planet Earth, and owning up to every breath we take, be it good or bad is the first place that we all should start. This post reminds us that even the smallest of activist decisions, will make the largest impact, when implemented by the whole. If you hate big corporations, are you doing business with the smaller mom and pop stores to fight back against them? Are you willing to sit down and teach future generations the mistakes we, their elders have made, and how they, OUR FUTURE, can avoid making the same mistakes? Activism starts with an "act", what act have you performed today, that benefited someone other than yourself?
