LMing86 rated 10 days ago- Quotes: "Believe those who are seeking the truth; doubt those who find it."

peggycharlene rated 7 weeks ago- Children have never been very good at listening to their elders, but to imitate, they never fail.

KuKamonpat rated 3 months ago- Alot of Wisdom inside but it's come with quite low manage. but i Like it=)

coop2 rated 3 months ago- Excerpted from the page: "Cicero: Gratitude is not only the greatest of virtues, but the parent of all the others. Blaise Pascal: Nothing is as approved as mediocrity, the majority has established it and it fixes it fangs on whatever gets beyond it either way. Gloria Steinem: We can tell our values by looking at our checkbook stubs." John Lewis We live in a country where we're supposed to have freedom of the press and religious freedom, but I think to some degree, there's a sense of fear in America today, that if you say the wrong thing, what some people will consider what is wrong, if you step out of line, if you dissent, whether you be an entertainer, that somehow and some way this government or the forces to be will come down on you.

heartofthecity rated 4 months ago- i like the idea, but the layout is hideous

Culturalove rated 5 months ago- Albert Einstein: A human being is a part of the whole called by us universe, a part limited in time and space. He experiences himself, his thoughts and feeling as something separated from the rest, a kind of optical delusion of his consciousness. This delusion is a kind of prison for us, restricting us to our personal desires and to affection for a few persons nearest to us. Our task must be to free ourselves from this prison by widening our circle of compassion to embrace all living creatures and the whole of nature in its beauty.

klachak rated 5 months ago- awesome collection of awesome quotes.. and sorted conveniently as well. thanks to kingcaid from whose page I stumbled across this site. the thing with wisdom quotes is that most of them sound wise enough to appear to be true, but I guess only a good subset of them applies to any single philosophy and each has to choose his own..

mraei rated 7 months ago- A great collection of quotes on many things.

yellowgreen rated 9 months ago- Great resource for quotes.
