Awils1 discovered 21 months ago- A trivial, yet enthralling article. Whoever frequents old bookshops, or even library sales will know how this author feels; the feeling of reading someone else’s scribble inside a 60+ year old books is a delight to the curiosity. Then you see the cursive handwriting and admire its beauty—because we don’t get to write like it’s an art form, and then, if you own them, you admire the complexity of the old text books from ‘sixth-form’ (Year 12) and want to go back in time, when intelligence was an assumed virtue.
